يعني إيه دستور؟
الدستور يبقى مجموعة من المبادئ تلاقيها مكتوبة ومتركبة في حاجات اسمها مواد والمواد ده هي إلي تضمنلك حقوقك. ومبادئ الدستور هي إلي بتحدد إزاي الحكومة والمسؤولين يتعاملوا مع الناس وكمان بتحدد إزاي الناس تتعامل مع بعض.
اعرف دستورك
أول دستور كان سنة 1923 وبعديها لما الملك فاروق اتنحى ومصر بقت جمهورية بقى عندنا دستور جديد سنة 1956 أيام عبد الناصر. وكمان أيام السادات بقى عندنا دستور جديد سنة 1971 إلي استمرأيام مبارك. مبارك عدل الدستور ده مرتين – مرة سنة 2005 ومرة سنة 2007. والإستفتاء إلي حصل يوم 19 مارس 2011 كان على تعديلات الدستور ده.
هو الدستور فيه إيه؟
· الدستور فيه حقوقك الأساسية زي حقك في الحياة والحرية وحقك إنك تتكلم وتعبر عن نفسك وحقك إنك تتظاهر وحقك في دينك وحقك في المساواة وحقك في التعليم وغيرها.
· الدستور بيحدد 3 سلطات في البلد: المجلس التنفيذي (عبارة عن الرئيس ومجلس الوزراء والمؤسسات الحكومية) والمجلس التشريعي (عبارة عن البرلمان إلي بيتكون من مجلس الشعب ومجلس الشورى) والسلطة القضائية (إلي هي المحاكم)
· الدستور بيحدد حق الحكومة عليك وكمان بيحدد إزاي تتعامل السلطات الثلاثة مع بعض.
هو الدستور مهم ليه؟
الدستور بيحمي حقوق الناس وهو إلي بيضمن سلطة القانون.
وإيه الفرق بين الدستور والقانون
الدستور هو أعلى قانون في البلد وهو إلي بيحدد مجلس الشعب والشورى في البرلمان وهما دول إلي بيكتبوا القوانين. والقوانين ده لازم تمشي حسب مواد الدستور.
الدستور مسؤولية مين والقانون مسؤولية مين؟
الدستور والقانون مسؤولية كل واحد مننا عشان كل واحد واجب عليه أنه يحمي مبادئ الدستور ويمشي حسب القانون. بس عموماً البرلمان هو المسؤول إن القوانين إلي بيكتبها تبقى حسب الدستور. والرئيس ومجلس الوزراء والمؤسسات الحكومية والمحاكم هي كمان مسؤولة إن كل واحد يمشي حسب القانون.

What is it?
The constitution is the highest law of the land.
Broadly – the constitution is a set principles that aims to protect individual rights and it is a set of rules that defines the relationship between the state and individuals.
Narrowly – it is a document that acts as a contract between citizen & state containing all these rules and principles.
Do we have to have one?
Not all countries have written constitutions but they have constitutional principles in place.
What does the constitution contain?
· Fundamental and basic rights like the right to life & freedom, no slavery, freedoms of speech, assembly, association and religion, equality and education.
· It creates and defines the 3 powers of state: executive, legislature and judiciary
· Principles governing the relationship between the state and individuals and between the 3 powers, specifying their powers and duties. These powers are the Executive (consisting of the president, cabinet, ministers and government departments), the Legislative (Parliament) and the Judiciary (courts).
Why is it important?
The constitution protects individuals’ rights and is one of the means used to guarantee the rule of law.
What’s the difference between the constitution & law?
The constitution is the highest law of the land which provides the means to create Parliament and gives it the power to pass laws. These laws must be in accordance with the articles of the constitution.
Whose responsibility is it to enforce the constitution and whose responsibility is it to enforce the law? Parliament enforces the constitution by making sure that laws created and amended are according to the constitutional articles. The Executive and Judiciary make sure that the law passed by parliament is enforced.
